BIGGER PICTURE GROUP SIGNS SINGER-SONGWRITER RACHEL BRADSHAW TO ROSTER
Industry Guests Celebrate New Talent with Reception at the Hutton Hotel
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – April 5, 2012 – Bigger Picture Group welcomed singer-songwriter Rachel Bradshaw to its esteemed artist roster during an intimate cocktail reception and dinner at the stylish Hutton Hotel on Wednesday, April 4. The Dallas, Texas native celebrated her signing with a close group of family and friends including her father, famed football legend Terry Bradshaw, mother Charla Bradshaw, Bigger Picture Group executives Keith Stegall, Michael Powers, Bob Cahill and David Robkin; Gary Veloric, Red Stripe Plane Group; and industry friends Bobby Huff (Ten Ten Music Group); Keith Miller (William Morris Entertainment) and Robert Ellis Orrall (songwriter/producer); among others.
“I’m proud to announce that Rachel will be joining the Bigger Picture Group artist family. She is an amazing talent, amazing singer, amazing songwriter and we are thrilled to be her new home,” said famed producer and Bigger Picture Group’s chairman and chief creative officer Keith Stegall. Bradshaw is the first solo female recording artist to join the next-generation company, where artists are true partners.
Bradshaw looks forward to making her mark in country music. “Ever since I was young, I knew that music was different for me—I felt like it was my calling. I didn’t just like listening to the radio—it was all I wanted to do,” she said.
Bradshaw’s gritty, lower-pitched voice coupled with musical influences such as Patsy Cline, Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain give her a unique yet familiar female sound.
About Rachel Bradshaw:
Rachel Bradshaw was born to sing. “I loved performing and writing and it was kind of an obsession for me,” remembers Bradshaw. Growing up in the suburbs of Dallas, TX, Bradshaw performed at Texas oprys and fairs. She performed her first live show at the St. Joe Opry at the age of 9 and later that same year wrote her first song inspired by a typical sibling rivalry.
In 2006, after graduating high school, Bradshaw headed to Music City to continue her education and pursue her love of country music. After enrolling in Belmont University and collaborating with fellow songwriters, Bradshaw soon met accomplished songwriter Jerrod Niemann and co-wrote “What Do You Want” with him, which became his second top 5 single as an artist. Bradshaw also sang background vocals on the break-up ballad, giving her an opportunity to showcase her distinctive voice on the hit.
Her signature sound and innate talent is sure to take her iconic family name—synonymous with America’s most popular sport—from football fields and fans to the bright lights of country music stages and to the top of the charts.
